What is a Micro Tuner?
The Micro Tuner is a state of the art high performance handheld computer programmer.
The programmer loads a tuning profile which advances the timing, optimizes air/fuel ratio,
remaps the transmission shift points, and increases the top speed of the speed limiter.
Tuning with the Micro Tuner is very simple. Just plug the data cable into your vehicle’s
diagnostic port, located under the dash and follow the prompts on the LCD display.
Remove the unit when finished.
What are the advantages of the Micro Tuner?
The Micro Tuner was created with one goal in mind, POWER! Three power profiles are included in one unit.
10-30% increase in horsepower and torque, depending on application. The Micro Tuner’s additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with increases in power that start in the low RPMs and build into a frenzy at the high RPMs.
Once the vehicle is reprogrammed, the Micro Tuner is removed from the data port. There are no tools required for installation. There is nothing connected to the vehicle that might come loose or fail.
A reprogrammed vehicle will notice significant improvements in drivability. The additional power and improved shift patterns created, will yield quicker acceleration, firmer shifting, better mileage, and improved towing characteristics. Whether in local traffic, out on the highway or towing an 8000lb trailer, the power increase in lower RPMs will yield better throttle response and help maintain speeds on inclines. The wider power band that the Micro Tuner creates will be noticeable in city driving, where speeds constantly change. The mid to upper power increase is extremely useful, on the highway, when passing slower vehicles.
Increased Fuel Mileage
The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency. The improved
timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion,
i.e.: the engine extracts more power from each molecule of fuel. Fuel mileage
increases of 2-4 mpg are typical.
Calibrate Tire Height
Calibrate for changes in tire height 24 to 38 inch in 1/4 inch increments
Vehicle Diagnostic Tool!
The 3705 can be plugged into any late model car or truck, to retrieve Diagnostic
Trouble Codes (DTC). This feature helps the user to diagnose today's complex
vehicle electronic systems and can not only display the trouble codes, but also
clear the codes too. A complete list of Diagnostic Trouble Codes will be provided
in the user manual.
